Metal Free Crowns
We have truly entered an aesthetic renaissance for dental crown options. We still offer the standard crown choices that have an incredible track record: the gold crown or the porcelain bonded to metal crown option. However, the discerning patient can now easily choose at the same or lesser price a monolithic crown restoration. Fabricated from one strong material (Zirconia for back molars and lithium disilicate for anterior cases), these crowns offer unparalled beauty, translucency, and non-chipping properties. The gray lines often seen at the traditional PFM crown margins are not seen on these.
Dental Implants
We have had the pleasure of treatment planning and restoring dental implant cases (straightforward or complex) the last 15 years and have been continuously amazed how technology has improved the success rate and strength of tooth replacement results. We have fostered wonderful working relationships with the best oral surgeons and gum specialists in the Bay Area. Our team approach is to make each patient feel at ease during what can be an emotional journey when confronted with the replacement of a tooth that has been lost due to unforseen circumstances. We take our time to collaborate with patients the most possible successful outcomes among many options.
No Shots! (Oraquix)
We offer the option of very comfortable needle-FREE anesthesia during our comprehensive non-surgical periodontal therapy treatments with the usage of Oraquix lidocaine and prilocaine periodontal gel at no additional cost. This new numbing gel can put periodontal therapy patients at ease. Our team simply squirts a few drops of the gel into each patient's gum area and enough anesthesia settles into the treatment spot within 30 seconds. The dental hygienist can then perform the procedure quickly and efficiently. The BEST attribute of Oraquix is that the numbness wears off totally in about 20 minutes. Patients do NOT have to leave our dental office with half of their face numb for multiple hours after traditional dental injections by the dental hygienist.
Sleep Apnea/ Snore Treatment
Over the last decade, we've noticed a sharp increase in the complaints from spouses and significant others about sleep deprivation due to their companions' snoring/ sleep apnea tendencies. We've searched the dental market and have teamed up with Glidewell Laboratories in Newport Beach to treat effectively mild to moderate cases of snoring and/ or sleep apnea conditions. We've saved some patients the high cost and inconvenience of staying overnight at a sleep study clinic. By receiving our simple impressions, our lab partner delivers back one of various comfortable treatment appliances. The feedback from patients has been tremendous. Some patients have claimed that we were able to save their marriages with this simply elegant treatment.
